Is Arabic Playhouse for children only?    No. Contrary to what the name might imply, Ararbic Playhouse is an excellent tool for even adults who are seeking to learn how to read Quranic Arabic.

Does the Arabic Playhouse teach the user how to speak Arabic?    No. The Arabic Playhouse only teaches the user how to read and recognize Quranic Arabic. It is a stage one software for a person, child or adult, who does not know how to read Quranic Arabic.

Is it like a book?    Arabic Playhouse is simiar to books but goes beyond a book with mulitmedia features that aid in pronunciation and recognition. It is more like a combination of a book and a teacher.

What is the difference between the Arabic Playhouse and the Al-Qari software?    The Arabic Playhouse has a more user-friendly interface, it is easier to navigate through, and is much easier for a beginner student of Arabic to understand.

How much of the Qur'an does Arabic Playhouse have in it?    Arabic Playhouse has thirteen Surahs in it with complete phrase-by-phrase translation as well as phrase-by-phrase recitation.

Does my child need a tutor if he/she is using Arabic Playhouse?    Although nothing takes the place of a good human teacher, the Arabic Playhouse is designed so that a child can go through the lessons and be able to learn fully the alphabet and read the Qur'an with some supervision. However, the supervision does not have to be that of an Arabic teacher. A parent will suffice.
