If Arabic Playhouse gives you a message that your CD-ROM is not recognized or that you need a CD-ROM drive to run
Some CD and DVD drives confuse Arabic playhouse's security scheme into thinking that they are not
valid CD-ROM drives. Follow the steps below to rectify the problem.
- Open a DOS Prompt window.
- Type
C: and press return.
- Type
cd \ and press return.
- Type
copy con apcd.miw and press return.
- Type
CDROM and press return.
- Press the
control and Z keys simultaneously, release them, then press return.
- You should see a message "
1 file(s) copied" if you followed the steps properly.
- Run Arabic Playhouse and it should work properly.
