وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْكَ ۚ أَفَأَنْتَ تَهْدِي الْعُمْيَ وَلَوْ كَانُوا لَا يُبْصِرُونَ


Asad : And there are among them such as [pretend to] look towards thee: but canst thou show the right way to the blind even though they cannot see?
Khattab :

And some of them look at you, but can you guide the blind even though they cannot see?1

Malik : Then there are some among them who pretend to look at you: but can you show the way to blind, bereft as they are of sight?
Pickthall : And of them is he who looketh toward thee. But canst thou guide the blind even though they see not?
Yusuf Ali : And among them are some who look at thee: but canst thou guide the blind even though they will not see?
Transliteration : Waminhum man yanthuru ilayka afaanta tahdee alAAumya walaw kanoo la yubsiroona

 This refers metaphorically to the pagans who fail to see and hear the truth.
