Surah 10. Yunus, Ayah 99
| وَلَوْ شَاءَ رَبُّكَ لَآمَنَ مَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ كُلُّهُمْ جَمِيعًا ۚ أَفَأَنْتَ تُكْرِهُ النَّاسَ حَتَّىٰ يَكُونُوا مُؤْمِنِينَ |
| Transliteration | : | wa- law shaa'a rabb -ka la- 'aamana man fe al- 'ard. kull -hum jamec(an) 'a- fa- 'anta tukrih an- naas h.attaa yakono mu'minen |
| Pickthall | : | And if thy Lord willed, all who are in the earth would have believed together. Wouldst thou (Muhammad) compel men until they are believers? |
| Asad | : | And [thus it is:] had thy Sustainer so willed, all those who live on earth would surely have attained to faith, all of them:122 dost thou, then, think that thou couldst compel people to believe, |
| Malik | : | If it had been the will of your Rabb that all the people of the world should be believers, all the people of the earth would have believed! Would you then compel mankind against their will to believe? |
| Yusuf Ali | : | If it had been the Lord's Will they would all have believed all who are on earth! Wilt thou then compel mankind against their will to believe! 1480 |
