وَلَكُمْ فِي الْقِصَاصِ حَيَاةٌ يَا أُولِي الْأَلْبَابِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ |
Asad | : | for, in [the law of] just retribution, O you who are endowed with insight, there is life for you, so that you might remain conscious of God!151 |
Khattab | : | There is ˹security of˺ life for you in ˹the law of˺ retaliation, O people of reason, so that you may become mindful ˹of Allah˺. |
Malik | : | O men of understanding! There is security of life for you in the law of retaliation, so that you may learn self-restraint. |
Pickthall | : | And there is life for you in retaliation, O men of understanding, that ye may ward off (evil). |
Yusuf Ali | : | In the law of equality there is (saving of) life to you O ye men of understanding! that ye may restrain yourselves. |
Transliteration | : | Walakum fee alqisasi hayatun ya olee alalbabi laAAallakum tattaqoona |
