Surah 2. Al-Baqara, Ayah 66



فَجَعَلْنَاهَا نَكَالًا لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهَا وَمَا خَلْفَهَا وَمَوْعِظَةً لِلْمُتَّقِينَ


Transliteration : fa- jacalnaa -haa nakaal(an) li- maa bayna yadai -haa wa- maa khalfa -haa wa- mawciz.ah li- al- muttaqen
Pickthall : And We made it an example to their own and to succeeding generations, and an admonition to the God fearing.
Asad : and set them up as a warning example for their time and for all times to come, as well as an admonition to all who are conscious of God.52
Malik : Thus, We made their fate an example to their own people and to succeeding generations, and a lesson to those who are God-conscious.
Yusuf Ali : So We made it an example to their own time and to their posterity and a lesson to those who fear Allah.
