Surah 20. Ta-ha, Ayah 48
| إِنَّا قَدْ أُوحِيَ إِلَيْنَا أَنَّ الْعَذَابَ عَلَىٰ مَنْ كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ |
| Transliteration | : | 'in(na) -naa qad oh.iya 'ilay -naa 'anna al- cadhaab calaa man kadhdhaba wa- tawallaa |
| Pickthall | : | Lo! it hath been revealed unto us that the doom will be for him who denieth and turneth away. |
| Asad | : | for, behold, it has been revealed to us that [in the life to come] suffering shall befall all who give the lie to the truth and turn away [from it]!'" |
| Malik | : | Indeed it has been revealed to us that the scourge will fall on those who deny this fact and turns away'." |
| Yusuf Ali | : | " `Verily it has been revealed to us that the Penalty (awaits) those who reject and turn away.' " |
