Surah 21. Al-Anbiyaa, Ayah 18
| بَلْ نَقْذِفُ بِالْحَقِّ عَلَى الْبَاطِلِ فَيَدْمَغُهُ فَإِذَا هُوَ زَاهِقٌ ۚ وَلَكُمُ الْوَيْلُ مِمَّا تَصِفُونَ |
| Transliteration | : | bal naqdhif bi- al- h.aqq calaa al- baat.il fa- yadmagh -hu fa- 'idhaa huwa zaahiq wa- la- -kum al- wayl min maa tas.ifon |
| Pickthall | : | Nay, but We hurl the true against the false, and it doth break its head and lo! it vanisheth. And yours will be woe for that which ye ascribe (unto Him). |
| Asad | : | Nay, but [by the very act of creation] We hurl the truth against falsehood,20 and it crushes the latter: and lo! it withers away.21 But woe unto you for all your [attempts at] defining [God]22 - |
| Malik | : | Nay! We give falsehood a violent blow with the Truth to knock it out and behold! Falsehood vanishes away. Woe be to you, for all the false gods you have invented. |
| Yusuf Ali | : | Nay We hurl the Truth against falsehood and it knocks out its brain and behold falsehood doth perish! Ah! woe be to you for the (false) things ye ascribe (to Us). 2678 |
