Surah 21. Al-Anbiyaa, Ayah 84
| فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ فَكَشَفْنَا مَا بِهِ مِنْ ضُرٍّ ۖ وَآتَيْنَاهُ أَهْلَهُ وَمِثْلَهُمْ مَعَهُمْ رَحْمَةً مِنْ عِنْدِنَا وَذِكْرَىٰ لِلْعَابِدِينَ |
| Transliteration | : | fa- istajabnaa la- -hu fa- kashafnaa maa bi- -hi min d.urr wa- 'aataynaa -hu 'ahl -hu wa- mithl -hum maca -hum rah.mah min cindi -naa wa- dhikraa li- al- caabiden |
| Pickthall | : | Then We heard his prayer and removed that adversity from which he suffered, and We gave him his household (that he had lost) and the like thereof along with them, a mercy from Our store, and a remembrance for the worshippers; |
| Asad | : | whereupon We responded unto him and removed all the affliction from which he suffered; and We gave him new offspring,79 doubling their number as an act of grace from Us. and as a reminder unto all who worship Us. |
| Malik | : | We accepted his prayer and relieved his affliction, and restored not only his family but also as many more with them as a favor from Us so that it may serve as a reminder to Our worshippers. |
| Yusuf Ali | : | So We listened to him: We removed the distress that was on him and We restored his people to him and doubled their number as a Grace from Ourselves and a thing for commemoration for all who serve Us. 2740 |
