Surah 22. Al-Hajj, Ayah 22
| كُلَّمَا أَرَادُوا أَنْ يَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا مِنْ غَمٍّ أُعِيدُوا فِيهَا وَذُوقُوا عَذَابَ الْحَرِيقِ |
| Transliteration | : | kulla-maa araado 'an yakhrujo min -haa min ghamm ucedo fe -haa wa- dhoqo cadhaab al- h.areq |
| Pickthall | : | Whenever, in their anguish, they would go forth from thence they are driven back therein and (it is said unto them): Taste the doom of burning. |
| Asad | : | and every time they try in their anguish to come out of it, they shall be returned thereto and [be told]: "Taste suffering through fire [to the full]!" |
| Malik | : | Whenever, in their anguish, they try to escape therefrom, they will be forced back therein, and will be told: "Taste the punishment of conflagration!" |
| Yusuf Ali | : | Every time they wish to get away therefrom from anguish they will be forced back therein and (it will be said) "Taste ye the Penalty of Burning!" |
