Surah 22. Al-Hajj, Ayah 38
| ۞ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُدَافِعُ عَنِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ خَوَّانٍ كَفُورٍ |
| Transliteration | : | 'inna 'allaah yudaafic can 'alladhena 'aamano 'inna 'allaah laa yuh.ibb kull khawwaan kafor |
| Pickthall | : | Lo! Allah defendeth those who are true. Lo! Allah loveth not each treacherous ingrate. |
| Asad | : | Verily, God will ward off [all evil] from those who attain to faith; [and,] verily, God does not love anyone who betrays his trust and is bereft of gratitude.56 |
| Malik | : | Surely Allah wards off evil from those who are true believers: for certainly Allah does not love anyone who is treacherous, ungrateful. |
| Yusuf Ali | : | Verily Allah will defend (from ill) those who believe: verily Allah loveth not any that is a traitor to faith or shows ingratitude. |
