إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ وَإِنْ كُنَّا لَمُبْتَلِينَ


Asad : In this [story], behold, there are messages indeed [for those who think]: for, verily, We always out Imanl to a test.
Khattab :

Surely in this are lessons.1 And We ˹always˺ put ˹people˺ to the test.

Malik : There are many lessons in this story, and surely We do test people.
Pickthall : Lo! herein verily are portents, for lo! We are ever putting (mankind) to the test.
Yusuf Ali : Verily in this there are Signs (for men to understand); (thus) do We try (men). 2893
Transliteration : Inna fee thalika laayatin wain kunna lamubtaleena

Yusuf Ali 2893 Noah's contemporaries had all sorts of chances and warnings. But they refused to believe and perished. But Allah's Truth survived, and it went to the next and succeeding generations. Will not mankind understand?
