Surah 23. Al-Muminun, Ayah 30
| إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ وَإِنْ كُنَّا لَمُبْتَلِينَ |
| Transliteration | : | 'inna fe dhaalika la- 'aayaat wa- 'in kunnaa la- mubtalen |
| Pickthall | : | Lo! herein verily are portents, for lo! We are ever putting (mankind) to the test. |
| Asad | : | In this [story], behold, there are messages indeed [for those who think]: for, verily, We always out Imanl to a test. |
| Malik | : | There are many lessons in this story, and surely We do test people. |
| Yusuf Ali | : | Verily in this there are Signs (for men to understand); (thus) do We try (men). 2893 |
Note - 2893Noah's contemporaries had all sorts of chances and
warnings. But they refused to believe and perished. But
Allah's Truth survived, and it went to the next and
succeeding generations. Will not mankind understand?
