الْمُلْكُ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْحَقُّ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ ۚ وَكَانَ يَوْمًا عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ عَسِيرًا

Asad : on that Day [it will become obvious to all that] true sover-eignty belongs to the Most Gracious [alone]: hence, a Day of distress will it be for all who deny the truth,
Khattab :

True authority on that Day will belong ˹only˺ to the Most Compassionate.1 And it will be a hard day for the disbelievers.

Malik : the real Kingdom on that Day will belong only to the Compassionate (Allah), a hard Day shall it be for the unbelievers.
Pickthall : The Sovereignty on that day will be the True (Sovereignty) belonging to the Beneficent One, and it will be a hard day for disbelievers.
Yusuf Ali : That Day the dominion as of right and truth shall be (wholly) for (Allah) Most Merciful: it will be a day of dire difficulty for the Misbelievers. 3083
Transliteration : Almulku yawmaithin alhaqqu lilrrahmani wakana yawman AAala alkafireena AAaseeran

 Some people (like kings and rulers) have some sort of authority in this world. But on Judgment Day Allah will be the sole authority.
