Surah 25. Al-Furqan, Ayah 44
| أَمْ تَحْسَبُ أَنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ يَسْمَعُونَ أَوْ يَعْقِلُونَ ۚ إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا كَالْأَنْعَامِ ۖ بَلْ هُمْ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا |
| Transliteration | : | 'am tah.sab 'anna akthar -hum yasmacon 'aw yacqilon 'in hum 'illaa ka- al- ancaam bal hum ad.all sabel(an) |
| Pickthall | : | Or deemest thou that most of them hear or understand? They are but as the cattle, nay, but they are farther astray! |
| Asad | : | Or cost thou think that most of them listen [to thy message] and use their reason? Nay, they are but like cattle - nay, they are even less conscious of the right way!37 |
| Malik | : | Or do you think that most of them listen or try to understand? They are nothing but animals - nay, they are even further off track! |
| Yusuf Ali | : | Or thinkest thou that most of them listen or understand? They are only like cattle; nay they are worse astray in Path. |
