Surah 28. Al-Qasas, Ayah 28
| قَالَ ذَٰلِكَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكَ ۖ أَيَّمَا الْأَجَلَيْنِ قَضَيْتُ فَلَا عُدْوَانَ عَلَيَّ ۖ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ مَا نَقُولُ وَكِيلٌ |
| Transliteration | : | qaala dhaalika bayni -y wa- bayna -ka 'ayya-maa al- 'ajalain qad.aytu fa- laa cudwaan calay -ya wa- 'allaah calaa maa naqol wakel |
| Pickthall | : | He said: That (is settled) between thee and me. Whichever of the two terms I fulfil, there will be no injustice to me, and Allah is Surety over what we say. |
| Asad | : | Answered [Moses]: "Thus shall it be between me and thee! Whichever of the two terms I fulfil, let there be no ill-will against me. And God be witness to all that we say!" |
| Malik | : | Musa replied: "So be it an agreement between me and you. Whichever of the two terms I complete, let there be no compulsion on me. Allah is the witness to what we have agreed upon." |
| Yusuf Ali | : | He said: "Be that (the agreement) between me and thee: whichever of the two terms I fulfil let there be no ill-will to me. Be Allah a witness to what we say." 3358 |
