Surah 29. Al-Ankabut, Ayah 45
| Transliteration | : | utlu maa oh.iya 'ilay -ka min al- kitaab wa- aqim as.- s.alaah 'inna as.- s.alaah tanhaa can al- fah.shaa' wa- al- munkar wa- la- dhikr 'allaah akbar wa- 'allaah yaclam maa tas.nacon |
| Pickthall | : | Recite that which hath been inspired in thee of the Scripture, and establish worship. Lo! worship preserveth from lewdness and iniquity, but verily remembrance of Allah is more important. And Allah knoweth what ye do. |
| Asad | : | CONVEY [unto others] whatever of this divine writ has been revealed unto thee,40 and be constant in prayer: for, behold, prayer restrains [man] from loathsome deeds and from all that runs counter to reason ;41 and remembrance of God is indeed the greatest [good]. And God knows all that you do. |
| Malik | : | Recite from this Book (Al-Qur'an) which has been revealed to you and establish Salah (Islamic prayers). Surely Salah keeps one away from shameful and evil deeds; and surely the remembrance of Allah (during your prayers and Allah's mention of your name in response to your prayers) is the greatest of all deeds, Allah knows what you do. |
| Yusuf Ali | : | Recite what is sent of the Book by inspiration to thee and establish Regular Prayer: for Prayer restrains from shameful and unjust deeds; and remembrance of Allah is the greatest (thing in life) without doubt. And Allah knows the (deeds) that ye do. 3471 |
