Surah 3. Al-i'Imran, Ayah 58
| ذَٰلِكَ نَتْلُوهُ عَلَيْكَ مِنَ الْآيَاتِ وَالذِّكْرِ الْحَكِيمِ |
| Transliteration | : | dhaalika natlo -hu calay -ka min al- 'aayaat wa- adh- dhikr al- h.akem |
| Pickthall | : | This (which) We recite unto thee is a revelation and a wise reminder. |
| Asad | : | THIS MESSAGE do We convey unto thee, and this tiding full of wisdom:46 |
| Malik | : | This revelation which We recite to you is full of signs and wise reminders. |
| Yusuf Ali | : | "This is what We rehearse unto thee of the Signs and the Message of Wisdom." |
Note - 46Lit., "This We convey unto thee of the messages and of
the wise tiding." The expression "this of the messages"
bears, to my mind, the connotation of one particular
message - namely, the one which follows immediately after
this sentence.
