Surah 33. Al-Ahzab, Ayah 40
| مَا كَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ أَبَا أَحَدٍ مِنْ رِجَالِكُمْ وَلَٰكِنْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَخَاتَمَ النَّبِيِّينَ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمًا |
| Transliteration | : | maa kaana muh.ammad 'abaa 'ah.ad min rijaal -kum wa- laakin rasol 'allaah wa- khaatam an- nabeyen wa- kaana 'allaah bi- kull shay' calem(an) |
| Pickthall | : | Muhammad is not the father of any man among you, but he is the messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets; and Allah is Aware of all things. |
| Asad | : | [And know, O believers, that] Muhammad is not the father of any one of your men,50 but is God's Apostle and the Seal of all Prophets.51 And God has indeed full knowledae of evervthina. |
| Malik | : | Muhammad is not the father of any of your men (he is not going to leave any male heirs). He is the Rasool of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets. Allah has the knowledge of all things. |
| Yusuf Ali | : | Muhammad is not the father of any of your men but (he is) the Apostle of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets: and Allah has full knowledge of all things. 3731 |
