رَبَّنَا آتِهِمْ ضِعْفَيْنِ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ وَالْعَنْهُمْ لَعْنًا كَبِيرًا


Asad : O our Sustainer! Give them double suffering, and banish them utterly from Thy 9race!"84
Khattab :

Our Lord! Give them double ˹our˺ punishment, and condemn them tremendously.”

Malik : Our Rabb! Give them double punishment and lay on them a mighty curse."
Pickthall : Our Lord! Oh, give them double torment and curse them with a mighty curse.
Yusuf Ali : "Our Lord! give them Double Penalty and curse them with a very great Curse!" 3773

Yusuf Ali 3773 Cf. xxv. 69 and n. 3129, and xi. 20 and n. 1515. The double Penalty invoked will be because (1) they went wrong themselves and (2) they misled others.
