Surah 33. Al-Ahzab, Ayah 68
| رَبَّنَا آتِهِمْ ضِعْفَيْنِ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ وَالْعَنْهُمْ لَعْنًا كَبِيرًا |
| Transliteration | : | rabb -naa 'aati -him d.icfain min al- cadhaab wa- ilcan -hum lacn(an) kaber(an) |
| Pickthall | : | Our Lord! Oh, give them double torment and curse them with a mighty curse. |
| Asad | : | O our Sustainer! Give them double suffering, and banish them utterly from Thy 9race!"84 |
| Malik | : | Our Rabb! Give them double punishment and lay on them a mighty curse." |
| Yusuf Ali | : | "Our Lord! give them Double Penalty and curse them with a very great Curse!" 3773 |
Note - 84Lit., "reject them (il'anhum) with a great rejection" ,
i.e., "from Thy grace".

double Penalty invoked will be because (1) they went
wrong themselves and (2) they misled others.
