Surah 35. Fatir, Ayah 14
| إِنْ تَدْعُوهُمْ لَا يَسْمَعُوا دُعَاءَكُمْ وَلَوْ سَمِعُوا مَا اسْتَجَابُوا لَكُمْ ۖ وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَكْفُرُونَ بِشِرْكِكُمْ ۚ وَلَا يُنَبِّئُكَ مِثْلُ خَبِيرٍ |
| Transliteration | : | 'in tadcon -hum laa yasmaco ducaa' -kum wa- law samico maa istajaabo la- -kum wa- yawm al- qiyaamah yakfuron bi- shirk -kum wa- laa yunabbi' -ka mithl khaber |
| Pickthall | : | If ye pray unto them they hear not your prayer, and if they heard they could not grant it you. On the Day of Resurrection they will disown association with you. None can inform you like Him Who is Aware. |
| Asad | : | If you invoke them, they do not hear your call; and even if they could hear, they would not [be able to] respond to you. And [withal,] on the Day of Resurrection they will utterly disown your having associated them with God.13 And none can make thee understand [the truth] like the One who is all-aware. |
| Malik | : | If you pray to them they cannot hear your prayers and even if they could hear you they could not answer you. On the Day of Resurrection they will deny your associating them with Allah. O mankind! None can inform you about all this except the One Who is All-Aware. |
| Yusuf Ali | : | If ye invoke them they will not listen to your call and if they were to listen they cannot answer your (prayer). On the Day of Judgement they will reject your "Partnership." And none (O man!) can tell thee (the Truth) like the One Who is acquainted with all things. 3895 3896 3897 |
