Surah 4. An-Nisaa, Ayah 104
| وَلَا تَهِنُوا فِي ابْتِغَاءِ الْقَوْمِ ۖ إِنْ تَكُونُوا تَأْلَمُونَ فَإِنَّهُمْ يَأْلَمُونَ كَمَا تَأْلَمُونَ ۖ وَتَرْجُونَ مِنَ اللَّهِ مَا لَا يَرْجُونَ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا |
| Transliteration | : | wa- laa tahino fe ibtighaa' al- qawm 'in takono ta'lamon fa- 'inna -hum ya'lamon ka-maa ta'lamon wa- tarjon min 'allaah maa laa yarjon wa- kaana 'allaah calem(an) h.akem(an) |
| Pickthall | : | Relent not in pursuit of the enemy. If ye are suffering, lo! they suffer even as ye suffer and ye hope from Allah that for which they cannot hope. Allah is ever Knower, Wise. |
| Asad | : | And be not faint of heart when you seek out the [enemy] host. If you happen to suffer pain, behold they suffer pain even as you suffer it: but you are hoping [to receive] from God what they cannot hope for. And God is indeed all-knowing, wise. |
| Malik | : | Do not show weakness in following up the enemy; if you are suffering hardships they too are suffering similar hardships; moreover, you have hope to receive reward from Allah while they have none. Allah is the Knowledgeable, Wise. |
| Yusuf Ali | : | And slacken not in following up the enemy: if ye are suffering hardships they are suffering similar hardships; but ye have hope from Allah while they have none. And Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom. 620 |
