Surah 4. An-Nisaa, Ayah 28
| يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ أَنْ يُخَفِّفَ عَنْكُمْ ۚ وَخُلِقَ الْإِنْسَانُ ضَعِيفًا |
| Transliteration | : | yured 'allaah 'an yukhaffif can -kum wa- khuliqa al- 'insaan d.acef(an) |
| Pickthall | : | Allah would make the burden light for you, for man was created weak. |
| Asad | : | God wants to lighten your burdens:37 for man has been created weak. |
| Malik | : | Allah wishes to lighten your burdens because humans have been created weak by nature. |
| Yusuf Ali | : | Allah doth wish to lighten your (difficulties): for man was created weak (in flesh). |
Note - 37I.e., to remove, by means of His guidance, all
possibility of conflict between man's spirit and his
bodily urges, and to show him a way of life in which
these two elements of human nature can be harmonized and
brought to full fruition.
