Surah 4. An-Nisaa, Ayah 55
| فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ آمَنَ بِهِ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ صَدَّ عَنْهُ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِجَهَنَّمَ سَعِيرًا |
| Transliteration | : | fa- min -hum man 'aamana bi- -hi wa- min -hum man s.adda can -hu wa- kafaa bi- jahannam sacer(an) |
| Pickthall | : | And of them were (some) who believed therein and of them were (some) who disbelieved therein. Hell is sufficient for (their) burning. |
| Asad | : | and among them are such as [truly] believe in him,72 and among them are such as have turned away from him. And nothing could be as burning as [the fire of] hell: |
| Malik | : | But some of them believed in it and some turned away. Sufficient is hell to burn those who turned away. |
| Yusuf Ali | : | Some of them believed and some of them averted their faces from him: and enough is hell for a burning fire. 577 |
