فَوَقَعَ الْحَقُّ وَبَطَلَ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ


Asad : whereupon the truth was established, and vain was proved all that they had been doing.
Khattab :

So the truth prevailed and their illusions failed.

Malik : Thus the truth prevailed and all that they did collapsed.
Pickthall : Thus was the Truth vindicated and that which they were doing was made vain.
Yusuf Ali : Thus truth was confirmed and all that they did was made of no effect.
Transliteration : FawaqaAAa alhaqqu wabatala ma kanoo yaAAmaloona
