وَأُلْقِىَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ سَـٰجِدِينَ
Waolqiya a l ssa h aratu s a jideen a
And down fell the sorcerers,90 prostrating themselves

Lit., "the sorcerers were thrown down" - i.e., they fell to the ground as if thrown by a superior force (Zamakhshari).

and the sorcerers, since they were professionals and knew that it was not sorcery, fell down in prostration,
