Surah 7. Al-A'raf, Ayah 41
| لَهُمْ مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ مِهَادٌ وَمِنْ فَوْقِهِمْ غَوَاشٍ ۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الظَّالِمِينَ |
| Transliteration | : | la- -hum min jahannam mihaad wa- min fawqi -him ghawaash wa- ka- dhaalika najze az.- z.aalimen |
| Pickthall | : | Theirs will be a bed of Hell, and over them coverings (of Hell). Thus do We requite wrong doers. |
| Asad | : | Hell will be their resting-place and their covering as well:33 for thus do We requite the evildoers. |
| Malik | : | Hell shall be their bed and flames shall be their covering. That is how We shall reward the wrongdoers. |
| Yusuf Ali | : | For them there is hell as a couch (below) and folds and folds of covering above: such is Our requital of those who do wrong. |
Note - 33Lit., "for them there will be a resting-place of [the
fires of] hell and, from above them, coverings
[thereof]".
