Surah 74. Al-Muddaththir, Ayah 56

وَمَا يَذْكُرُونَ إِلَّا أَنْ يَشَاءَ اللَّهُ ۚ هُوَ أَهْلُ التَّقْوَىٰ وَأَهْلُ الْمَغْفِرَةِ

Transliteration : wa- maa yadhkuron 'illaa 'an yashaa' 'allaah huwa 'ahl at- taqwaa wa- 'ahl al- maghfirah
Pickthall : And they will not heed unless Allah willeth (it). He is the fount of fear. He is the fount of Mercy.
Asad : But they [who do not believe in the life to come] will not take it to heart unless God so wills:30 [for] He is the Fount of all God-consciousness, and the Fount of all forgiveness.
Malik : But none takes heed except by the will of Allah. He Alone is worthy to be feared and He Alone is worthy to forgive those who fear Him.
Yusuf Ali : But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness and the Lord of Forgiveness. 5808

Asad 30 Namely, unless He bestows His grace on them by making their minds and hearts receptive to the truth, so that they are compelled - from within themselves, as it were - to make the right choice. (See also note [11] on {81:28-29}, as well as note [4] on 14:4.)

Yusuf Ali 5808 Righteousness as well as Forgiveness have their source in Allah's Will. Man's Righteousness has no meaning except in relation to the universal Will. For Taqwa see n. 26 to ii. 2. If we take the word here in the sense of "the fear of Allah", the translation would be: "He alone is worthy to be feared, and He alone is entitled to grant Forgiveness."
