Surah 75. Al-Qiyamat, Ayah 15
| وَلَوْ أَلْقَىٰ مَعَاذِيرَهُ |
| Transliteration | : | wa- law alqaa macaadher -hu |
| Pickthall | : | Although he tender his excuses. |
| Asad | : | even though he may veil himself in excuses.5 |
| Malik | : | even though he shall plead with excuses. |
| Yusuf Ali | : | Even though he were to put up his excuses. |
