فَلْيَضْحَكُوا قَلِيلًا وَلْيَبْكُوا كَثِيرًا جَزَاءً بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ


Asad : Let them, then, laugh a little - for they will weep a lot113 in return for what they have earned.
Khattab :

So let them laugh a little—they will weep much as a reward for what they have committed.

Malik : Let them laugh a little; much will they weep as a recompense for what they have earned.
Pickthall : Then let them laugh a little: they will weep much, as the award of what they used to earn.
Yusuf Ali : Let them laugh a little: much will they weep: a recompense for the (evil) that they do. 1336
Transliteration : Falyadhakoo qaleelan walyabkoo katheeran jazaan bima kanoo yaksiboona

Yusuf Ali 1336 They may sneer or ridicule or rejoice now: that will be only for a little: much will they have to weep for afterwards.
