The Alim Foundation Inc.(www.alim.org) is an online platform with its mobile applications. It’s primary objective is furthering Islamic self-knowledge exploration, fulfilment and education. The Alim Foundation is a nonprofit, charitable, religious, and social organization. We invite applications for the positions described below.

1. Scholars Advisory Board

The purpose of the Alim Scholars Advisory Board is to advise, assist, support, and advocate for the Alim Foundation Inc.’s programs and to strengthen Islamic self-exploration, knowledge and education for all knowledge seekers. The members shall be volunteers who share their expert knowledge.
Responsibilities Include
  1. Research and answer user questions.
  2. Recommend general program improvements.
  3. Attend meetings, including those with outside organizations.
  4. Help Alim.org become more visible.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Islamic education from a reputable institution.
  2. Can represent any school of Fiqh and Jurisprudence but must accommodate others with due respect.
  3. A minimum of three years of practical experience serving the Muslim community.
  4. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of internet portals.
  5. Fluent English is highly desired.
  6. Social media and marketing experience a plus.

2. Interns

Summer and long-term intern positions are available. As an Intern you will support strategies, plans, and efforts while learning fundamental skills in your interest areas. Local candidates will be preferred.
