Sahih Bukhari Volume 7, Book 70, Hadith 5424

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُقَاتِلٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ الضَّمْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَحْتَزُّ مِنْ كَتِفِ شَاةٍ، فَأَكَلَ مِنْهَا، فَدُعِيَ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ، فَقَامَ فَطَرَحَ السِّكِّينَ فَصَلَّى، وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ‏.

Narrated By 'Amr bin Umaiyay Ad-Damri : I saw Allah's Apostle cutting part of the shoulder of mutton with a knife. He ate of it and then was called for prayer whereupon he got up and put down the knife and offered the prayer without performing new ablution.
