Sahih Muslim Book - 36, Hadith - 5238
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ ، قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقُ : لَمَّا خَرَجْنَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ مَكَّةَ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ مَرَرْنَا بِرَاعٍ ، وَقَدْ عَطِشَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ: فَحَلَبْتُ لَهُ كُثْبَةً مِنْ لَبَنٍ، فَأَتَيْتُهُ بِهَا فَشَرِبَ حَتَّى رَضِيتُ.
It was narrated that Al-Bara' said: "Abu Bakr As-Siddiq said: 'When we set out from Makkah to Al-Madinah with the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w). we passed by a shepherd. The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) was thirsty, so I milked a small amount of milk for him and brought it to him, and he drank until I was happy."'
