Engineers in Netherlands are on a mission to build energy generating roads which can produce more energy to households. Last year, engineers had built a 70 meter pilot track to test the effectiveness of this mission project. This was built along a bike path near the Dutch town of Krommenie on the outskirts of Amsterdam. Within first six months of installation it generated 3000kwh energy. And experts say that this is good enough to produce electricity over a year for a single person household. There was a continuous five years of research to develop this technology and the team is now on the road to implement the project by talking with local council in Netherlands. The team has signed in an agreement with US state of California on implementation of the project.
