This is The Book in which there is no doubt. (Since its Author,Allah, the Creator of this universe, possesses completeknowledge, there is no room for doubt about its contents.) It isa guide for those who are God conscious,

Those to whom We have given the book and who read it as it oughtto be read, they are the ones who believe in it; as for those whoreject it, they are for sure the losers.

He is the One Who has revealed to you the Book. Some of itsverses are decisive - they are the foundation of the Book - whileothers are allegorical. Those whose hearts are infected withdisbelief follow the allegorical part to mislead others and togive it their own interpretation, seeking for its hiddenmeanings, but no one knows its hidden meanings except Allah.Those who are well grounded in knowledge say: "We believe in it;it is all from our Rabb." None will take heed except the peopleof understanding.

He is the One Who has revealed to you the Book. Some of itsverses are decisive - they are the foundation of the Book - whileothers are allegorical. Say: "O people of the Book! Let us get together on what is commonbetween us and you: that we shall worship none but Allah; that weshall not associate any partners with Him; that we shall not takefrom among ourselves any lords beside Allah." If they reject yourinvitation then tell them: "Bear witness that we are Muslims (whohave surrendered to Allah)."

Say: "O people of the Book! Why do you deny the revelations ofAllah? Allah Himself is a witness to your actions."

Yet they are not all alike: there are some among the People ofthe Book who are upright, who recite the revelations of Allah allnight long and then prostrate before Him;

When Allah made the covenant with those who were given the Book,they were asked to spread the teachings of the Book to mankindand not to conceal them; but they cast it behind their backs andsold them for a petty price. What a bad bargain they made!

There are some among the people of the Book who truly believe inAllah and what has been revealed to you, O Muhammad, and what hasbeen revealed to them before you. They humble themselves beforeAllah and do not sell the revelations of Allah for a petty price.For them, there will be a reward from their Rabb. Surely Allah isvery swift in settling the accounts.

O people of the Book (Jews and Christians)! Believe in what Wehave now revealed (The Qur'an), confirming your own scriptures,before We obliterate your faces and turn them backward, or layOur curse on you as We laid Our curse on the Sabbath-breakers:and remember that Allah's command is always executed.

The People of the Book ask you to bring down for them a book fromHeaven. From Musa they demanded an even harder miracle than that.They asked him: "Make us see Allah with our own eyes." As aresult of their wickedness, the thunderbolt overtook them. Thenthey took the calf for worship after receiving clear revelations.After all that, We still pardoned them and gave to Musa clearauthority.

They thought no affliction would follow; so they acted blind anddeaf. Yet Allah, in extreme mercy, accepted their repentance, butagain many acted blind and deaf towards the message of Allah.Allah is observant of their actions.

The Jews say: Allah's hand is tied up! - Nay! Their own handswill be tied up and they will be cursed for what they utter. Bothof His hands are free; However, He spends as He pleases. The factis that the revelations that have come to you from Allah willsurely make many of them increase in their wickedness andunbelief. We have stirred among them enmity and hatred till theDay of Resurrection. Every time they kindle the fire of war,Allah extinguishes it. Now they are striving to spread mischiefin the land. Allah does not love those who do mischief.

Rest assured that the believers (Muslims), the Jews, the Sabiansand the Christians - whoever believes in Allah and the Last Dayand does righteous deeds - will have nothing to fear or toregret.

Those to whom We have given the Book know this fact as they knowtheir own sons. In fact those who have lost their souls, will notbelieve.

The scribe, who is given thegift of literacy by Allah, should not refuse to write; he isunder obligation to write. Let him who incurs the liability(debtor) dictate, fearing Allah his Rabb and not diminishinganything from the settlement. If the borrower is mentally unsoundor weak or is unable to dictate himself, let the guardian of hisinterests dictate for him with justice. Let two witnesses fromamong you bear witness to all such documents, if two men cannotbe found, then one man and two women of your choice should bearwitness, so that if one of the women forgets anything the othermay remind her. The witnesses must not refuse when they arecalled upon to do so. You must not be averse to writing (yourcontract) for a future period, whether it is a small matter orbig. This action is more just for you in the sight of Allah,because it facilitates the establishment of evidence and is thebest way to remove all doubts; but if it is a common commercialtransaction concluded on the spot among yourselves, there is noblame on you if you do not put it in writing. You should havewitnesses when you make commercial transactions. Let no harm bedone to the scribe or witnesses; and if you do so, you shall beguilty of transgression. Fear Allah; it is Allah that teaches youand Allah has knowledge of everything.

Likewise enjoin the believing women to lower their gaze and guardtheir modesty; not to display their beauty and ornaments exceptwhat normally appears thereof; let them draw their veils overtheir bosoms and not display their charms except to theirhusbands, their fathers, their fathers-in-law, their own sons,their stepsons, their own brothers, their nephews on eitherbrothers' or sisters' sides, their own womenfolk, their ownslaves, male attendants who lack sexual desires or small childrenwho have no carnal knowledge of women. Also enjoin them not tostrike their feet in order to draw attention to their hiddentrinkets. And O believers! Turn to Allah in repentance, all ofyou, about your past mistakes, so that you may attain salvation.

Serve Allah and do not commit shirk (associate any partner) withHim, and be good to your parents, kinfolks, orphans, thehelpless, near and far neighbors who keep company with you, thetravellers in need, and the slaves you own. Allah does not lovethose who are arrogant and boastful,

who are themselves stingy and enjoin others to be stingy, whohide the bounties which Allah has bestowed on them. For suchunbelievers We have prepared a disgraceful punishment.

Those that turn to Allah in repentance, serve Him, praise Him,move about in the land for His sake, make Rakuh (bow down inprayer) and Sajud (prostrate themselves in prayer), enjoin whatis good and forbid what is evil, and observe the limits(permissions and prohibitions) set by Allah (they are the oneswho make such a bargain with Allah). O Prophet, proclaim the goodnews to such believers.

O believers! Bow down, prostrate yourselves, worship your Rabband do good deeds so that you may attain salvation.
48 : 29
Muhammad, the Rasool of Allah, and those with him are strongagainst the unbelievers and compassionate to each other amongthemselves. When you see them, you will find them making Rakuh(bowing down) and Sajud (prostrate in prayers), and craving forthe blessings from Allah and His good pleasure. They have mark ofSajud (prostration) on their foreheads, the traces of theirprostration. This is their similitude in the Taurat (Torah); andtheir similitude in the Injeel (Gospel): they are like the seedwhich puts forth its sprout, then strengthens it, then becomesthick and stands firmly on its stem, delighting the sowers of theseed, so that through them He may enrage the unbelievers. Yet tothose of them who will believe and do good deeds, Allah haspromised forgiveness and a great reward.

those who break Allah's Covenant after accepting it, and who cutaside what Allah has ordered to be united and cause mischief onearth. It is they who are the losers.

As for those who break their covenant with Allah after confirmingit and cut asunder what Allah has commanded to be joined andcreate mischief in the land, they are the ones on whom thereshall be a curse and they are the ones who will have a terriblehome.

He put hypocrisy into their hearts to last till the Day whereinthey shall meet Him as a consequence of their breach of covenantwith Allah and the lies they told.
Marriage bonds of believing refugee women with disbelievers
60 : 10
O believers! When the believing women seek refuge with you, testthem. Allah best knows their faith. If you find them truebelievers, do not send them back to the unbelievers. They are notlawful to the unbelievers, nor are the unbelievers lawful tothem. Return to their unbelieving husbands what they have spenton them. There is no blame on you if you marry such women,provided you give them their dowers. Do not hold on to yourmarriages with unbelieving women. Demand what you have spent onthem and let the unbelievers do the same. This is the order ofAllah which He has decreed between you. Allah is All-Knowing,All-Wise.

If you do not get back the demanded amount that you have spent onyour disbelieving wives from the unbelievers, and your turncomes, to pay the demanded amount of Muslim wives to theunbelievers, you can offset the amount and pay those whose wiveshave fled the equivalent of the amount they have spent on theirdisbelieving wives. Fear Allah, in Whom you believe.

O believers! Do not make friendship with those who are enemies ofMine and yours. Would you show them friendship, when they havedenied the truth that has come to you and have driven the Rasooland yourselves out of your homes, simply because you believe inAllah, your Rabb? If it was indeed to strive in My way, and toseek My good pleasure that you left your homes, how can youbefriend in secret? I know all that you conceal, and all that youreveal. Any of you who does this, he indeed has gone astray fromthe Right Way.

If you do not get back the demanded amount that you have spent onyour disbelieving wives from the unbelievers, and your turncomes, to pay the demanded amount of Muslim wives to theunbelievers, you can offset the amount and pay those whose wiveshave fled the equivalent of the amount they have spent on theirdisbelieving wives. Oaths

Fulfill the covenant of Allah when you have pledged to do so, anddo not break your oaths after you have sworn them; for swearingin His name you have made Allah your surety; surely Allah hasknowledge of all your actions.

Do not behave like that woman who had spun her yarn strongly andthen had herself broken it into pieces; nor take your oaths formutual deceit so that one people may take undue advantage overthe other, for Allah puts you to trial by these oaths; and on theDay of Judgment He will certainly reveal to you the truth aboutwhich you differed.
48 : 10
Surely those who swore allegiance to you O Prophet, indeed sworeallegiance to Allah Himself. The Hand of Allah was above theirhands. Now, the one who will break his pledge, will break it athis own peril, and the one who will keep his pledge that he hasmade with Allah, shall soon be given a great rewarded by Him.

Treaties by the MUSHRIKEEN, of

A declaration of immunity from Allah and His Rasool is herebymade to those of the mushrikin with whom you have made a treaty:
9 : 2
"You have four months to go around in the land unmolested; butyou should know that you cannot frustrate the will of Allah, andthat Allah will humiliate the unbelievers."
9 : 3
This is a public proclamation from Allah and His Rasool to thepeople on the day of the Great Hajj (Pilgrimage) that Allah andHis Rasool do hereby dissolve treaty obligations with themushrikin. Therefore, if you repent, it will be better for youbut if you turn away, then you should know that you cannotfrustrate the Will of Allah. O Prophet, proclaim a painfulpunishment to those who are unbelievers.
9 : 4
Except (this proclamation does not apply to) those mushrikin whohonored their treaties with you in every detail and aided noneagainst you. So fulfill your treaties with them to the end oftheir term; for Allah loves the righteous.
9 : 5
When the forbidden months (10,11,12 & 1 of the Islamic calendar) are over, then fight the mushrikïn wherever you find them, seize them, besiege them, and lie in ambush for them in every stratagem of war, but if they repent, establish Salah and pay Zakah, then let them go their way: surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

You shall inherit one half of your wives' estate if they leave nochild, but if they leave behind a child then you will get onefourth of their estate, after fulfilling the terms of their lastwill and the payment of debts. Your wives shall inherit onefourth if you leave no child behind you; but if you leave achild, then they shall get one-eighth of your estate; afterfulfilling the terms of your last will and the payment of debts.If a man or a woman leaves neither ascendant nor descendants buthas left a brother or a sister, they shall each inherit onesixth, but if they are more than two, they shall share one thirdof the estate; after fulfilling the terms of the last will andthe payment of debts; without prejudice to the rights of theheirs. Thus is the commandment of Allah. Allah is Knowledgeable,Forbearing.

They ask you for a legal decision relating to inheritance in thecase of a childless person. Say: Allah gives you His decisionabout those who leave no descendants or ascendants as heirs. If aman dies childless and leaves behind a sister, she shall inheritone-half of his estate. If a woman dies childless, her brotherwill inherit all of her estate. If the childless person leavesbehind two sisters, they both shall inherit two-third of hisestate; but if he leaves more than two brothers and sisters, theshare of each male shall be equal to that of two females. ThusAllah makes His commandments clear to you lest you go astray.Allah has perfect knowledge of everything.

Allah says: "O My servants who have transgressed against theirsouls, do not despair of Allah's mercy, for Allah forgives allsins. It is He Who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.

Turn in repentance to your Rabb, and submit to Him before therecomes to you the scourge: for then, there shall be none to helpyou.
Hereafter, each so to carry its own in the

Say: "Should I seek another Rabb besides Allah when He is theRabb of everything?" Every soul will reap the fruits of its owndeeds; no bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another.Ultimately you will return to your Rabb, and He will resolve foryou your disputes.

We have fastened the fate of every man to his own neck, and onthe Day of Judgment We shall bring out for him a book spread wideopen,

saying: "Here is your book of deeds: read it. Today you yourselfare sufficient to take your own account."

He that seeks guidance, shall be guided to his own advantage, buthe that goes astray does so to his own loss. No bearer shall bearthe burden of another on the Day of Judgement. And during yourworldly life, We do not inflict punishment until We send forth aRasool to make truth distinct from falsehood.

Those deities will answer: "Glory be to You! It was not befittingfor us that we could take any guardian besides You, but You letthem and their forefathers enjoy the comforts of worldly lifeuntil they forgot the Reminder, and thereby became worthlesspeople."
Prayers for lightening of

Allah does not burden any human being with more than he can bear.Everyone will enjoy the credit of his deeds and suffer the debitsof his evil-doings.The believers say: "Our Rabb! Do notpunish us if we forget or make a mistake. Our Rabb! Do not placeon us a burden as You placed on those before us. Our Rabb! Laynot on us the kind of burden that we have no strength to bear.Pardon us, Forgive us, Have mercy on us. You are our Protector,help us against the unbelievers."
