Nay! Let him know that if he does not stop, We will drag him bythe forelock,

Punishment

Punishment

10 : 50

Say: "Have you ever considered that if his scourge fall upon youby night or by day you can do nothing to avert it? What then isthere that the criminals wish to hasten?

10 : 51

Would you believe it when it actually overtakes you? Then youwould beg it to be removed although it had been your own wish tohurry it on."

10 : 52

Then it will be said to the wrongdoers: "Taste the everlastingpunishment! Should you not be rewarded according to your deeds?"

10 : 53

They ask you: "Is what you say really true?" Tell them: "Yes! Bymy Rabb, it is absolutely true! And you will not be able to avertit."

10 : 54

If every person that has done injustice possessed all that theearth contains, he would be willing to offer it all in ransom toredeem himself if he could. They will regret in their hearts whenthey see the punishment of Hell. The decision between them willbe made with justice and no wrong will be done to them.

10 : 55

Be aware! All that is in the heavens and the earth belongs toAllah. Be aware! The promise of Allah is true, yet most of themdo not know.

10 : 56

He is the One Who gives life and causes death, and to Him youshall all return.

Punishment of Allah

Collective, the

8 : 25

Guard yourselves against temptation. The wrongdoers among you arenot the only ones who will be tempted; and know that Allah isstrict in retribution.

Fearing the

70 : 27

dread the punishment of their Rabb

70 : 28

- for none is secure from the punishment of their Rabb -

Promised, the

52 : 7

the torment of your Rabb will surely come to pass!

52 : 8

There shall be none to avert it.

Ridiculing the

they shall have the Fire as their abode because of what they hadearned (erroneous creed and wrong conduct).

Warning of the

78 : 40

Indeed We have forewarned you of an imminent punishment whichlies close-at-hand, on the Day when man shall see what his handshave sent forth and the unbeliever will cry: "I wish! I couldremain merely dust."

Purchasing

Disbelief at the price of Faith

3 : 177

Those who barter away faith for unbelief will in no way harmAllah. They shall have a painful punishment.

Idle tales

31 : 6

Among the people there are some who purchase frivolous tales sothat they may lead people away from the Way of Allah, without anyknowledge, and take the invitation to the Right Way as a mockery.For such people there will be a humiliating punishment.

Purification

If you aresick, or on a journey, or one of you has used the toilet, or hashad contact with women (sexual relation with wives) and can findno water, then make Tayammum: take some clean earth and rub yourfaces and hands with it. Allah is Lenient, Forgiving.

O believers! When you rise up for Salah (prayer), wash your facesand your hands as far as the elbows, wipe your heads with wethands and wash your feet to the ankles. If you had an emission ofsemen, then take a full bath. However, if you are sick or on ajourney or you have used the toilet or you had intercourse withyour women (your wife) and you do not find any water then resortto Tayammum - find clean soil and rub your faces and hands withit. Allah does not wish to burden you; He only wishes to purifyyou and to perfect His favor upon you, so that you may bethankful.

Spending for that of the soul

92 : 17

But the pious shall be kept away from it,

92 : 18

the one who spends in charity for self-purification,

92 : 19

not seeking any favor from anyone for which a reward is expectedin return,

92 : 20

except seeking the good pleasure of his Rabb, the Most High.

92 : 21

Such persons shall soon be well-pleased with Allah.

Soul, of the

91 : 7

by the soul and Him Who perfected it

91 : 8

and inspired it with knowledge of what is wrong for it and whatis right for it:

91 : 9

indeed successful will be the one who keeps it pure,

Purifying

Oneself

87 : 14

The one who will take admonition and purify himself shall besuccessful,

who remembers the name of his Rabb and prays.

Oneself before touching the Quran

I swear by the setting of the stars,

and it is indeed a mighty oath if you but knew it,

that this is indeed a Glorious Qur'an,

inscribed in a well-guarded Book,

which none can touch except the purified (angels):

Religion in the sight of Allah

O Muhammad, say to them: "My Rabb has commanded justice and thatyou set your faces in the right direction at the time of everyprayer and call on Him with true devotion. You shall return toHim as He created you in the beginning."

Purity

Ascribing of to oneself

53 : 32

To those who avoid the major sins and shameful deeds and areguilty of only small offence, surely for them your Rabb will haveabundant forgiveness. He knew you well when He created you fromearth and when you were just embryos in your mother's wombs,therefore, do not claim piety for yourselves. He knows best whois really Godfearing pious.

Dying in a state of

16 : 32

- such pious people the angels cause to die, saying: "Peace beupon you! Enter the paradise because of the good deeds you havedone."

Guidance into that of speech

22 : 23

As for those who have faith and do good deeds, Allah willcertainly admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow. Theyshall be decked with pearls and bracelets of gold, and theirgarments will be of silk.

22 : 24

This is because during their life on earth, they were guided toaccept the pure words of Allah and they were shown the Way of theAll-Praiseworthy.

Words of

35 : 10

If anyone is seeking honor, let him know that all honor belongsto Allah Alone. Good words ascend to Him and good deeds areexalted by Him. As for those who plan evil deeds, they shall havesevere punishment and their plots will be brought to nothing.

Purpose

Conspiring for an evil

58 : 10

Conspiring in secret is the work of shaitan, who means to vex thebelievers; but he cannot harm them at all except as Allahpermits; so in Allah let the believers put their trust.

Killing a Believer on

4 : 93

Whoever kills a believer intentionally, his punishment is hell tolive therein forever. He shall incur the wrath of Allah, Who willlay His curse on him and prepare for him a woeful punishment.

Religion, setting one's for the

30 : 30

Therefore, stand firm in your devotion to the upright faith - thenature made by Allah, the one on which mankind is created - andthe laws of Nature ordained by Allah cannot be changed. That isthe standard of true faith, but most among mankind do not know.

30 : 43

Therefore stand firm in your devotion to the true faith beforethat Day arrives on which there will be no chance of avertingfrom Allah. On that Day, they shall be divided in two groups.

Purpose To Allah

Setting one's

7 : 29

O Muhammad, say to them: "My Rabb has commanded justice and thatyou set your faces in the right direction at the time of everyprayer and call on Him with true devotion. You shall return toHim as He created you in the beginning."

Putting Away Arms During War

Rain or illness or convenience, for

4 : 102

When you, O Muhammad, are with them, leading their Salah (prayerin the state of war), let one party of them stand up to pray withyou, armed with their weapons. After they finish theirprostrations, let them withdraw to the rear and let the otherparty who have not yet prayed come forward to pray with you; andlet them also be on their guard, armed with their weapons. Theunbelievers wish to see you neglect your arms and your baggage,so that they could suddenly attack to overpower you all in onestroke. However, there is no blame on you if you lay aside yourarms because of heavy rain or because you are sick, but youshould still be on your guard. Allah has prepared a humiliatingpunishment for the unbelievers.
