و حَدَّثَنِي الْفَضْلُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ مُعَلًّى الرَّازِيَّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الَّذِي رَوَى عَنْهُ عَبَّادٌ بْنُ كَثِيْرٍ فَأَخْبَرَنِي عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ يُونُسَ قَالَ كُنْتُ عَلَى بَابِهِ وَسُفْيَانُ عِنْدَهُ فَلَمَّا خَرَجَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْهُ فَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّهُ كَذَّابٌ.
Al-Fadl bin Sahl narrated to me: "I asked Mu'alla Ar-Razi about Muhammad bin Sa'eed, the one that 'Abbad bin Kathir narrated from. So he told me that 'Eisa bin Yunus said: 'I was at his door and Sufyan was with him. When he came out, I asked him about Muhammad bin Sa'eed, and he told me that he was a liar.'"
