حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ وَقُتَيْبَةُ وَابْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ - وَهُوَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ - عَنْ أَبِى سُهَيْلٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ - رضى الله عنه - أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- قَالَ « إِذَا جَاءَ رَمَضَانُ فُتِّحَتْ أَبْوَابُ الْجَنَّةِ وَغُلِّقَتْ أَبْوَابُ النَّارِ وَصُفِّدَتِ الشَّيَاطِينُ ».
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah [May Allah pleased with him] that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “When Ramadan comes, the gates of Paradise are opened and gates of the Fire are closed, and the devils are fettered.”
