Sahih Muslim Book - 1, Hadith - 365
و حَدَّثَنِي الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّاءَ حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ يَعْنِي الْجُعْفِيَّ عَنْ زَائِدَةَ عَنْ هِشَامٍ قَالَ قَالَ الْحَسَنُ كُنَّا عِنْدَ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ نَعُودُهُ فَجَاءَ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ مَعْقِلٌ إِنِّي سَأُحَدِّثُكَ حَدِيثًا سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ بِمَعْنَى حَدِيثِهِمَا.
Al-Hasan said: "We were with Ma'qil bin Yasar, visiting him when he was sick, and 'Ubaidullah bin Ziyad came and Ma'qil said to him: 'I am going to tell you a Hadith that I heard from the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w), - then he narrated a similar Hadith (as no. 364)."
