It was narrated from 'Amir bin Sa'd that his father said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) distributed (some wealth) and I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, give to so-and-so, for he is a believer.' The Prophet (s.a.w) said: 'Or a Muslim.' I said it three times, and each time he replied: 'Or a Muslim.' Then he said: 'I may give to one man, although someone else is more beloved to me than him, for fear lest Allah throw him into the Fire.'"
