حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الْعَنْبَرِىُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِى حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ - وَهُوَ ابْنُ زِيَادٍ - سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ أَخَذَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِىٍّ تَمْرَةً مِنْ تَمْرِ الصَّدَقَةِ فَجَعَلَهَا فِى فِيهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « كِخْ كِخْ ارْمِ بِهَا أَمَا عَلِمْتَ أَنَّا لاَ نَأْكُلُ الصَّدَقَةَ ».
Abu Hurairah said: “Al-Hasan bin Ali took a date from the dates that had been given in charity and put it in his mouth. The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: ‘No, no, put it down! Don’t you know that we do not consume charity?’”
