Sahih Muslim Book - 15, Hadith - 3228

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى وَابْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ - وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِى حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ لَمَّا أَرَادَ النَّبِىُّ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- أَنْ يَنْفِرَ إِذَا صَفِيَّةُ عَلَى بَابِ خِبَائِهَا كَئِيبَةً حَزِينَةً. فَقَالَ « عَقْرَى حَلْقَى إِنَّكِ لَحَابِسَتُنَا ». ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهَا « أَكُنْتِ أَفَضْتِ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ ». قَالَتْ نَعَمْ. قَالَ « فَانْفِرِى ».

It was narrated that ‘Aishah said; “When the Prophet (SAW) wanted to depart, he saw Safiyyah at the door of her tent, looking sad and sorrowful. He said: ‘(May you become) barren and shaven-headed, you are going to detain us.’ Then he said to her: ‘Did you perform Tawaf Al-Ifadah on the Day of Sacrifice?’ She said: ‘Yes.’ He said: ‘Then depart.’”
