Sahih Muslim Book - 15, Hadith - 3286

وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكَّارِ بْنِ الرَّيَّانِ وَسُرَيْجُ بْنُ يُونُسَ - وَاللَّفْظُ لِسُرَيْجٍ - قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ أَخْبَرَنِى مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ النَّبِىَّ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- أُتِىَ وَهُوَ فِى مُعَرَّسِهِ مِنْ ذِى الْحُلَيْفَةِ فِى بَطْنِ الْوَادِى فَقِيلَ إِنَّكَ بِبَطْحَاءَ مُبَارَكَةٍ. قَالَ مُوسَى وَقَدْ أَنَاخَ بِنَا سَالِمٌ بِالْمُنَاخِ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ الَّذِى كَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يُنِيخُ بِهِ يَتَحَرَّى مُعَرَّسَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- وَهُوَ أَسْفَلُ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ الَّذِى بِبَطْنِ الْوَادِى بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ وَسَطًا مِنْ ذَلِكَ.

It was narrated from Salim bin Abdullah bin Umar, from his father, that someone came to The Prophet (SAW) when he stopped in Dhul-Hulaifah at the bottom of the valley, and it was said :” You are on blessed stony ground(Batha). ” Musa Said:”Salim made his camel kneel near the Masijd where Abdullah used to stop, seeking the place where The Messenger of Allah (SAW) stopped, which is lower than the Masjid in the Bottom of the valley, between it and the Qiblah, in the middle. ”
