حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِى حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنِى الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سَبْرَةَ الْجُهَنِىُّ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ كَانَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- فَقَالَ « يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنِّى قَدْ كُنْتُ أَذِنْتُ لَكُمْ فِى الاِسْتِمْتَاعِ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ حَرَّمَ ذَلِكَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ فَمَنْ كَانَ عِنْدَهُ مِنْهُنَّ شَىْءٌ فَلْيُخَلِّ سَبِيلَهُ وَلاَ تَأْخُذُوا مِمَّا آتَيْتُمُوهُنَّ شَيْئًا ».
Ar-Rabi' bin Sabrah Al-Juhani narrated that his father told him that he was with the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) and he said: "O people, I had given you permission to engage in Mut'ah marriages with women, but now Allah has forbidden that until the Day of Resurrection, so whoever has any of them with him, he should let her go, and do not take back anything that you gave to them."
