It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) married me when I was six years old and he lived with me when I was nine years old." She said: "We came to Al-Madinah and I fell sick for a month and my hair came down to my neck. Umm Ruman came to me when I was on a swing and some of my friends were with me. She called me loudly and I went to her, and I did not know what she wanted of me. She took me by the hand and made me stand at the door. I said: 'Hah, Hah (as if gasping for breath)' until I had calmed down, then she took me into a house where there were some women of the Ansar who said: 'With good wishes, and blessings, and good fortune.' She handed me over to them and they washed my hair and adorned me, and then suddenly the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) was there, and they handed me over to him.''
"When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him."
Prophet Mohammed (PBUH)
"The best of what a man leaves behind are three: a righteous child who supplicates for him, ongoing charity the reward of which reaches him, and knowledge that is acted upon after him."
Sunan Ibn Mājah
"Every day two angels come down from Heaven and one of them says, 'O Allah! Compensate every person who spends in Your Cause,' and the other (angel) says, 'O Allah! Destroy every miser.'"
Sahih Bukhari
