حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ رَافِعٍ - وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِى ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ أَبَا الصَّهْبَاءِ قَالَ لاِبْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَتَعْلَمُ أَنَّمَا كَانَتِ الثَّلاَثُ تُجْعَلُ وَاحِدَةً عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِىِّ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- وَأَبِى بَكْرٍ وَثَلاَثًا مِنْ إِمَارَةِ عُمَرَ. فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ نَعَمْ.
Ibn Tawus narrated from his father that Abu As-Sahba' said to Ibn 'Abbas: "Do you know that the threefold divorce was regarded as one at the time of the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) and Abu Bakr, and for three years of 'Umar's leadership?" He said: "Yes."
"When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him."
Prophet Mohammed (PBUH)
"The best of what a man leaves behind are three: a righteous child who supplicates for him, ongoing charity the reward of which reaches him, and knowledge that is acted upon after him."

"Every day two angels come down from Heaven and one of them says, 'O Allah! Compensate every person who spends in Your Cause,' and the other (angel) says, 'O Allah! Destroy every miser.'"
