Sahih Muslim Book - 21, Hadith - 3935
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى وَأَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الْعَتَكِىُّ قَالَ أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ حَدَّثَنَا وَقَالَ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عَمْرٍو قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ كُنَّا لاَ نَرَى بِالْخِبْرِ بَأْسًا حَتَّى كَانَ عَامُ أَوَّلَ فَزَعَمَ رَافِعٌ أَنَّ نَبِىَّ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- نَهَى عَنْهُ.
It was narrated that 'Amr said: "I heard Ibn 'Umar say: 'We did not see anything wrong with renting out land until last year, then Rafi' said that the Prophet of Allah (s.a.w) had forbidden it."'
