Sahih Muslim Book - 3, Hadith - 762
و حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُعَاذَةَ أَنَّهَا سَأَلَتْ عَائِشَةَ أَتَقْضِي الْحَائِضُ الصَّلَاةَ؟ فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ أَحَرُورِيَّةٌ أَنْتِ؟ قَدْ كُنَّ نِسَاءُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَحِضْنَ أَفَأَمَرَهُنَّ أَنْ يَجْزِينَ؟ قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ تَعْنِي يَقْضِينَ.
It was narrated that Yazid said: "I heard Mu'adhah (say) that she asked 'Aishah: 'Should a menstruating woman make up missed prayers?' 'Aishah said : 'Are you a Haruriyyah? The wives of the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) used to menstruate, but did he (s.a.w) tell them to make up (the prayers)?!'"
