Sahih Muslim Book - 3, Hadith - 793
حَدَّثَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عِيسَى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ الضَّمْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَحْتَزُّ مِنْ كَتِفِ شَاةٍ فَأَكَلَ مِنْهَا فَدُعِيَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَقَامَ وَطَرَحَ السِّكِّينَ وَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ.
It was narrated from Ja'far bin 'Amr bin Umayyah Al-Damri that his father said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) cut (some meat) from a lamb shoulder and eat it, then the call to prayer was given. He got up, put down the knife and prayed, and he did not perform Wudu'."
